This was my favorite game on the gamecube. I really wanted to enjoy it on the PC as well, but this port is awful. I need a user-made mod just to get the game to run well. Then, when I got 10 hours into the game, it glitched so that I couldn't move anymore. The glitch persisted through saving and loading, so my 10 hour game was lost.I strongly recommend you play this game. Just not on this PC port.. Despite the limitations present because the age of the game, it is a great experience for JRPG fans, with enough content and challenges to keep you entertained for a few dozen hours.Oh, but watchout, the game may softlock in midst of important cutscenes, LIKE THE FINAL ONE.Oh, and the OST is kinda lackluster since it's composed solely by midi tracks.. As a kid growing up, I adored anime. One of which I watched before I even knew what anime was being Fullmetal Alchemist. This game piqued a sort of interest to me then, reminding me a bit of the show. What lied in wait for me was a game I could get lost in for hours. Though it isn't exactly graphically up to par compared to it's sequel and the afterwards Tales games, it has a special place in my heart and I plan to love it for years to come. Amazing Game!!!!!!!!!Make sure to get the community patch it makes the game better. One of my top ten favorite games of all time. I've replayed it on the GameCube over 12 times, and playing it here makes it 13. This game is just incredible in every way, and this version has added all the content we missed out on the later versions. However, this version is also locked at 30 FPS and there is no way to mod it to 60 FPS without also increasing game speed. Despite that, it's a solid and great version, and I had a blast replaying it again. I'm looking forward to another run through it again, soon.
